6-27-14

Well today I have to have surgery and I'm not happy about it! Hopefully all goes well . Emily you are the best and brightest thing in my life and I live for you!  I have never seen a child as bright as you.  You will go further than your mother and I ever dreamed!  I kissed you on your head  this morning and can't wait to do it again in a day! I just want you to know that I love you so much that you will only understand when you have children of your own.  But no hurry!  Live your life, visit all coroners of the earth and live an adventure every day. Traveling is the best therapy because seeing the world through others perspectives is how you open your mind and truly live!

I love you, see you soon.

6/10/10

Emily,

My baby girl, I love you so much that you have no idea! You are so much fun that I wish I had you at a much younger age. Your mother and I went through a lot to have you and it was all worth it. You are a very happy baby that just won’t stop smiling because of how much love you are given from everyone.

I’m traveling to Las Vegas today and it always scares me that something will go wrong. So, I wanted to write this letter in case something should happen and I’m not able to see you grow up. I know I’m just being silly but that’s okay.

You are the only thing that matters to me and one day when you have children you will know what I mean. When you grow older I want you to explore near and distant cities. I want you to live life and make your own path. Don’t be a follower! I want you to drink wine in Venice, Italy, play poker in Vegas and scuba dive in California just like your father did! Living life is why you are here! My dream is for you to go to NYU and experience a culturally rich place like New York. I want you to walk the Brooklyn Bridge and feel it magnitude like your mom and I did. When you are ready, settle down and make a family of your own but until then just keep exploring the world and enjoy the scenery. Life is about making decisions that turn out good or bad and then making better ones.

I love you,

Dad

P.S. Hopefully you never read this letter and I can just tell you everything when you’re older but I just wanted to be sure I left you something should it be my time.

Emily @ 1 month!

Wow a month has flown by!  Emily has been exceptionally good and is rarely fussy.  Heidi has done a great job taking on most of the baby duties.  I only get to change an occasionl diaper at night or on the weekend.  Being a dad is pretty easy atleast for now!!!

Day 20

Here's my family, 2 dogs a woman and a baby!
I'm not going to lie they are a handfull but they are worth it!
It's just that dam little dog, she's crazy as a shithouse rat!  Puppies are cute so you don't kill them when they eat your furnature and pee on your rugs.  The older dog is well behaved he just barks way too much! Then again if you had a crazy puppy biting you on the balls you'd bark a lot to.  Emily sleeps about 4 hours a wack, so only one night time feeding for my wife.

1/22/10 The day of Emily's Arrival

1/22/10 was the first day my little girl took her very first breath and it was the first day of my life!
Up until this day I had no clue why I existed besides the fact that my parents also wanted a baby like my wife and myself. After she was born I realized why I was on this planet.

This blog will contain my ramblings and thoughts from the day she was born till the day I dye! This blog is so my daughter Emily may understand how much effort was put into bringing her into this world and the adventures that take place while she's growing up.
